交換式・収納式の刃でシート材、梱包材、薄い仕上げ材などを切断する手工具。対象材に合う刃形状と突出量を選び、定規や下敷きを併用して切る。

• 刃は必要最小限だけ出し、切断方向へ手や身体を置かない。
• 鈍った刃を無理に押し込まず、安全な手順で交換・廃棄する。
• 下地や隠れた配線を傷つけないよう切込み深さを管理する。

• Extend only as much blade as needed and keep hands and body out of the cutting direction.
• Replace dull blades rather than forcing them, and dispose of used blades safely.
• Control cutting depth so the substrate or concealed wiring is not damaged.
