About NicheWorks

NicheWorks is a personally operated site that publishes small, practical web pages for reference and everyday work.

The current main published page is the Old Kanji Reference, a searchable reference for comparing old Japanese kanji forms with modern equivalents. It is intended for checking names, place names, older books, signs, historical documents, and family records.

Operating policy

Only reviewed pages are linked from the main navigation during the review period.
Usage notes, limitations, contact information, and privacy information are kept visible.
Ads, analytics, cookies, and data handling are explained in the Privacy Policy.
Unfinished or under-review tools are kept out of the main review path.
